A tragic head-on collision in Clearfield County claimed the lives of three individuals Monday night, prompting an active investigation by state police into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
According to Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder, the deadly two-vehicle crash occurred just before 9:30 p.m. along the 7000 block of Bennetts Valley Highway (Route 255) in Huston Township.
Emergency crews responding to the scene found devastating wreckage and confirmed all three victims had succumbed to their injuries.

The driver of one vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Cayden Wiseman of DuBois, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner. His passenger, 20-year-old Dominic Moore, also of DuBois, was similarly pronounced dead at the scene.
The third victim, identified as 37-year-old Seth Neubert of Saint Marys, was the driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash. He, too, was pronounced dead on-site.
The collision resulted in the closure of Route 255 between Mountain Run Road and Route 153 for several hours Monday night, as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene and investigators began piecing together what led to the deadly impact.
At this time, no additional details have been released about the cause of the crash. The investigation is being led by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities have not indicated whether weather, speed, or other factors may have contributed to the incident. Further updates are expected pending the completion of the investigation.
